Winter's back. 2/6.

It's finally snowing again at Meadows. I'm not going to tell you the skiing's epic. After all, 1 inch of new on randomly variable icy frozen runs off the groom isn't getting me on the slopes any time soon. However, with 3-7" forcasted for today, the riding could be decent by this afternoon.

Tomorrow looks sunny on the hill, but...

Starting Sunday, there's snow (and a fair bit of it) in the forecast every day next week. I'm thinking we'll have a few good powder days next week. At this point, the precip model suggests Tuesday will be very good, with .5-.75 inch of water equivalent falling on Mt. Hood.

You may now remove the spring wax from your skis or snowboard and reapply the cold weather wax.

Have a great day!
