I don't really have time to post a forecast now, but I'll do one tonight. However, please take the time to read the following attachment about SDS's proposed wind farm (which will be placed in a marginal wind area, by the way) and make a comment by 4:30 today to the attached address:
Hi to all concerned people,
Below is the information on the “proposed” SDS project expansion from Skamania County into Klickitat County on DNR land. A map of the project is attached.
Please take some time to look at the SEPA and the Map. It shows a doubling of the size of the project from 40+ turbines to 80+ turbines.
This project sets a precedent in the State for placing turbines in a SOSEA (Spotted Owl special emphasis area) and is near the White Salmon Water source of Buck Creek and may affect recreation opportunities on state lands.
Below is the notice information, please note that all comments must be received by 4:30 pm, Tuesday, Jan. 27 (tomorrow from the release of this email) so I strongly encourage you to use the email link: sepacenter@dnr.wa.gov to submit your comments.
