Hello everyone!
First, a big thank you to Ron Martin (no, Ron, you may not have cookies, because I still owe Michelle 2.5 dozen cookies) for pointing out the high wind warning that's been posted for the desert on Wednesday. I would go so far as to call it a "tie down your small animals" warning.
As a cold front crosses the Northwest in the wake of a today's Pineapple Express, winds climb in the eastern desert. Well, technically, wind will blow through the entire Gorge. Kiters and slalom sailors should have plenty of wind in the western Gorge tomorrow, but the eastern Gorge sits in the wind spotlight. Gradients climb overnight, and by morning, we'll have 30ish in the desert. I wouldn't be surprised to see 2.9-3.2 conditions tomorrow. At the least, we'll have 3.7.
Arlington is your best call. The Wall will most likely be gusty, gusty, gusty.
If you're short on small gear, I'll have a 2.9, 3.0, and 2x 3.2 Hot Sails for demo.
See you on the water tomorrow!
Temira
