Ben Dale's Sunday Forecast

Hi Everyone,

I'm having coffee with Ben Dale of Edgepro knife sharpeners, and he wants to go kiting.

So you get a forecast.

A disturbing disturbance crosses the  Northwest today, kick-starting Gorge winds. Look for gusty 15-20 in the corridor and gusty 24-27 out in the desert.

Monday looks light.

Tuesday (ELECTION DAY, DAMNIT, GO AND VOTE IF YOU HAVEN'T) looks like a possible nuker out in the desert. An upper level low crosses the region overnight Monday, sending eastern Gorge winds into the upper twenties or low thirties.

If you want a mountain bike ride, Ben says that Post Canyon is muddy and slick. I vote for Hospital Hill, which is excellent, other than the marauding yellow jackets.

Also, if you haven't noticed, I'm not doing the radio forecast any more. No bad blood. Just dollars. If you don't mind emailing or calling the station in the next week and saying how you love listening to me on the air (only if you do, of course), that would be great.
