Halloween Forecast (participation required)

Hi everyone,

Happy Halloween!

Did you notice the Nothing yesterday? Ugh. Because the Nothing is here, I'll be forecasting on an as-necessary basis from now on. It's been a fun season (if not the best wind season ever), and I'll miss writing to you guys daily... um, almost daily.

Now for something important (aka, shameless self-promotion): as you know, I've been doing the recreation report and wind forecast on the radio since June. Today is my last day. If you've enjoyed the radio report (you can hear the last one at gorgeradio.com today), please take the time to call or email one of these people and say so:

Gary Grossman: 541-296-2211, gary@bicoastalmedia.com      (general manager)
Rick Cavagnaro: 541-296-2211, rcavagnaro@bicoastalmedia.com      (sales manager)
Mark Bailey: 541-386-1511, markbailey@bicoastalmedia.com      (morning radio show and K105.5 manager)

(don't worry. I'll remind you again)

Back to the weather....

At least two-for-one steak night has started at started at Three Rivers in Hood River. I like steak.

Best chance of wind this weekend will be in the eastern desert on Sunday, but it's unlikely.

In other important news: There is a huge election party on Tuesday at Double Mountain Brew Pub in Hood River. Be there or be trapezoidal.

Have a great day, everyone!

(off to work)
