Sunday Inversion forecast

Hello everyone!

Icky inversion clouds go away!

For once, I have coffee in hand (well, not literally) as I write the forecast. It doesn't seem to be helping much. I think somebody stole my mojo

Anyway.... There's a .07 gradient now. Normally that's enough for 17-20, and we're seeing that in Lyle with the drainage winds off the Klickitat. Models suggest winds will pick up as the day goes on, and I see no reason to go against that. Let's go with 18-22 today after Sol has a chance to warm up the daylight world.

Tomorrow sees a weak warm front pass over the Gorge, followed by the approach of a cold front. This is a timing issue, once again (isn't everything in life?), but we'll have sailable/kitebable wind for much of the day. Looks like 15-18 to start followed by 22-26. The stronger winds will probably be from Mosier eastward to Arlington.

West flow will dominate the picture for much of next week, bringing a series of weak fronts and short-lived sailable west winds.

Have a great day!

Temira

p.s. The mountain bike trails are still epic.
