Wednesday looks less windy, but still good for kiteboarding.
Thursday looks good at the coast, as high pressure builds over the Pacific.
My teapot is whistling at me, so I have to go make coffee.
I can make coffee - you can have some if you're here in ten minutes - but I can't make your ski/sail decision for you.

p.s George McLean (of iWindsurf) wins the cookies for offering a valid explanation of why it wasn't windy the other day despite huge gradients. His theory is that pre-frontal air masses contain rising air, which *can* keep winds from hitting the surface. Plausible enough for a dozen cookies.
