Sledding forecast (wind Tuesday)

Good morning everyone!

It wasn't windy enough yesterday for snowy east wind sailing, and it's not going to be windy enough today for snowy west wind sailing. We'll have to wait for Tuesday afternoon for that. Vlado? Jim? Laura? Steve? Anyone?

In the meantime, we're looking at epic snowboarding/tele/CC/sledding conditions right here in Hood River (never mind the mountain). I checked out 7th Street last night, and it was quite fast. The icy face shots were a bit too much, though, at midnight, so I came home for hot cocoa. Be careful on the roads. For some reason, the gravel trucks and plows have been mostly driving around without plowing and graveling. We'll have to ask our city councilors why...

If anyone wants to sled, I have two sleds and am happy to share.

In the meantime, here's a shot of my friend Reckless' car.

Anyway, if you don't want to sled or ski, I recommend wandering around enjoying the beautiful scenery. It's not often that we get this much snow. Awesome!

Have fun!

Temira
