Friday Forecast

Good Morning Bikers!

You just might have to put your windsurfing and kiteboarding gear back in the car for today! With high pressure building along the coast and a low pressure system moving to the east, Gorge winds will bump up into the sailable range today (not that I'll be joining you with two houses and a shift at the restaurant). Doug's/Rowena, already clear of clouds, is your best bet for time on the water today. Winds should hit the 21-23 range this afternoon.

A warm front brings more clouds and less wind tomorrow, except for Puget Sound, which sees sailable southerlies.

The cold front at the back edge of that warm air mass bumps up winds on Sunday. Widespread showers (I'm picturing a bunch of shower booths spotting the hillsides around Roosevelt) diminish wind quality, and cold air diminishes the sailing experience. Seattle sees more southerly wind, as does the Oregon Coast. It might be a good day to watch some Seahawks football!

Have a great day today!

Temira
